Using genetic algorithm for fleet assignment of small-scale LNG supply chain

چکیده
Abstract This paper presents the development of a model how to assign LNG carriers from single source number scattered small-scale power plants in milk-run operation strategy. Typically, researchers assume that ports/terminals be visited are as given parameters. In this paper, specifications (infrastructures) considered consequence selected carriers. The objective is determine optimum size and for particular route by minimizing unit logistics costs which include shipping required infrastructures (ports facilities) costs. proposed approach metaheuristic using genetic algorithm. computational results shows optimal solution can achieved relatively short period time cuve satisfies law deminishing returns. Finally, some encouraging suggestions further study presented.
